The Mommy Makeover medical garments are the newest addition to Design Veronique’s system of Medical Compression Garment Therapy™ (CGT™). Each item is targeted to a phase of the healing process.
Immediately after abdominal surgery the patient will wear Design Veronique’s new adjustable medical binder which allows for drains to be strategically attached anywhere on the binder for optimal drainage. The new binder comes in two torso widths (9” and 12”) to accommodate all body types.
After drains are removed following an abdominal procedure the patient is then placed into the Design Veronique contouring garment. The garment provides 360° graded compression to support all surgical areas. It features a patent pending back zipper design, which clears all surgical areas and provides a far greater comfortable recovery. The phase 2 garment is available with a bra (DV-2b) or without a bra (DV-2).
A patient who undergoes liposuction as their initial procedure would be put into this garment immediately following surgery and would continue to wear for several weeks for optimal results.
To optimize the three C’s we recommend transitioning your patient to our most supportive garment, #DV-3b. The garment’s design features added compression panels in the abdomen and flanks which provide 360° target graded compression to support all surgical areas. The garment features a patent pending back zipper design, which clears all surgical areas and provides added compression during the final skin retracting and body contouring phase. The phase 3 garment is available with a bra (DV-3b) or without a bra (DV-3).
